Speech-Language Therapy

Jody Cane, MA CCC-SLP, Speech Language Pathologist
received her Bachelor of Science degree in Hearing & Speech Sciences from Ohio University and her Master of Arts in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from the University of Colorado-Boulder.  She is certified nationally by the American Speech, Language, Hearing Association (ASHA), licensed by the States of Ohio & California, and holds an education certificate through the Ohio Department of Education.  

Jody built her career as a pediatric speech-language pathologist in a multi-disciplinary private practice treating children with varying diagnoses.  She develops individual treatment plans for her clients and includes parents, caregivers, and school staff in the planning of treatment.  Her history of working in the field has given her the experience of treating children with a variety of developmental disorders, from early intervention through school age.

Jennifer Howald,  MA CCC-SLP, Speech-Language Pathologist
is a graduate from Ohio University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Hearing Speech and Language Sciences. She obtained her Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from The University of Akron. She is nationally certified by the American Speech, Language, Hearing Association (ASHA), licensed by the State of Ohio Board of Speech Pathology and Audiology and holds credentials from the Ohio Department of Education.  

Jennifer provides speech & language services in the clinic setting to a variety of individuals from school age to adult. The majority of her clients are utilizing a variety of communication systems and devices to promote their expressive communication needs across a variety of settings such as home, school, work or vocational programs and community settings. She has experience working with individuals with dysarthria, aphasia and dysphagia as well as, receptive and expressive language, pragmatic and social language and articulation and phonological disorders..
